There are five metatarsal bones in each of our feet, and one metatarsal connects to each toe. The metatarsal bones are longer bones than the bones of the toes (called phalanges). Tendons, muscles, and ligaments connect to the metatarsal bones, so they are very important to the normal function of our feet. Make your feet happy, give us a call, 708-763-0580.
